2004 Recap

August 20 - 23

Everyone please send out a big THANK-YOU to Todd for the fantastic logo!

The VGOC has begun the long and difficult process of preparing for the 2004 Video Game Olympics. I can guarantee you that the 2004 Olympics will surpass the 2003 Olympics in every way, shape, and form. First of all, the 2004 Olympics will be at least twice as long as the 2003 Olympics. Festivities will kick off Friday, August 20 and will not wind down until late in the day on Monday, August 23. Be ready to either take a vacation day or call in sick on Monday. The VGOC has many exciting improvements and enhancements all set for this year's Olympics. Look for the 2004 Olympics to turn it up to 11!!!

Additionally, the 2004 Olympics has an official forums website.

The VGOC has released a preliminary list of games.

You can find pictures from 2004 here.

The 2004 VGO teams are here.

If you did not receive an automatic invitation to the 2004 Video Game Olympics, don't worry. There are many, many Olympic qualifying tournaments and events between now and then. Remember, there's always the McCabe Infant Invitational!

I hope that each and every one of you makes the necessary preparations to be at the 2004 Video Game Olympics. Remember, we cannot have a good time unless you are there!

Your Friend (and VGOC liaison),
John Schneider - The 2003 VGO Grand Champion!
